Spring comes to the woods

The weather has been giving us whiplash lately with great changes between the highs and lows. The children of course, just roll with it and have fun no matter what the temperature is! One big theme in the last few weeks has been noticing spring (tiny leaves coming in!) and new things that are growing: our may apples are opening and the garlic mustard is sprouting (that last one we pick because it's an invasive weed, but it also tastes ok!)
