On Thursdays, Jethro and Felix’s dad Mike has been joining us to sing and make music with the children in the woods. He is great at improvising songs, changing each verse to be about what the children are doing. The children find ways to make instruments out of the sticks and rocks around them and play along with his guitar.
Thora noticed a slug on her stump. Mike incorporated it into a song where he reminded everyone “don’t sit on a slug…”
Liam even got to try the guitar
William found a way to keep the beat
