William, Georgia, Lahae, and Harper had fun jumping in the creek on this beautiful warm Wild Woods day.
We use this opportunity to discuss how our bodies feel when they get wet on a warm day versus how they might feel if they got wet on a cold day.
Jumping from heights provides an awesome opportunity for sensory stimulation. It allows the children to test their limits and feel a huge sense of excitement!
Creek jumping also provided them the opportunity for a social activity. They made sure that each person had fair turns, and they encouraged each other when it was the other person‘s turn. They helped count for each other as they jumped, for example, “3, 2, 1.. jump!”
