Art in the Wild Woods Thurs Feb 23, AM & PM
This week we explored a new way to create art, with hammer and nails! Using a tree cookie, the children worked with kid sized hammers and nails. They have a special magnetic nail holder that makes holding the nails much easier for the little fingers. Once the nails were secure enough, they were able to stretch rubber bands around them. Some even turned into instruments! Great hand eye coordination, fine motor and gross motor skills (swinging those hammers)
Later in the afternoon, the body paint markers came out since it was so warm. Also, throughout the day, the children worked peeling some old broken crayons to make into new crayons another day.
