Art in the Wild Woods Feb 13-14 AM & PM

To celebrate Valentines Day, the children experimented with heart stamping. Using cookie cutters and toilet paper rolls folded into a heart shaped, they were able to mix various shades of paint to create works of art. I love warm art days, when the children are able to take off their gloves and practice their fine motor skills. manipulating the cookie cutters, paintbrushes and even using the clothes pins to hang them up are all great practice.

(Note, after we painted I realized some of the paint had a terrible smell. I ended up photographing the ones my kids made at home and had to toss the actual art. I went through all the paint and tossed the ones that didn't pass the sniff test.)
